Gita web app (Next.js, open source) v1.3: More settings provided and hi-res hero images; Notes for students & self-learners
Minor update on 1 Oct. 2024
Gita web app (latest version) deployed at: https://gita-rsi.vercel.app/.
GitHub repo: https://github.com/ravisiyer/gita .
This version adds to the Settings feature of earlier version 1.2, the ability of selecting translator for chapter page, use or not use the replace question mark (?) by comma (,) fix for commentaries data, selecting languages for chapter summaries and whether full window width should be used by all app pages for large window width devices like PC or laptop. It also uses higher resolution hero images (for home page).
Given below are some screenshots on PC desktop and mobile of the v1.3 Gita web app:
[On PC desktop/laptop, to open pic in larger resolution (if available), right-click on pic followed by open link (NOT image) in new tab/window. In new tab/window you may have to click on pic to zoom in.]
For students and self-learners who want to understand the changes from software development perspective, I have put up the post: Notes on enhancements and bugfixes to Bhagavad Gita v1.2 Next.js web app .
