Gita web app (Next.js, open source) v1.2: Facility to select individual translators and commentators for a language; Notes for students & self-learners
Minor update on 1 Oct. 2024
Gita web app (latest version) deployed at: https://gita-rsi.vercel.app/.
GitHub repo: https://github.com/ravisiyer/gita .
This version adds to the Settings feature of earlier version 1.1, the ability of selecting individual translators and commentators within each language, whose translations and commentaries are shown in verse page. In version 1.1, only languages could be selected and all translations and commentaries of selected languages were shown in verse page.
Given below are some screenshots on PC desktop and mobile of the v1.2 Gita web app:
[On PC desktop/laptop, to open pic in larger resolution (if available), right-click on pic followed by open link (NOT image) in new tab/window. In new tab/window you may have to click on pic to zoom in.]
For students and self-learners who want to understand the changes from software development perspective, I have put up the post: Notes on enhancements and bugfixes to Bhagavad Gita v1.1 Next.js web app.
