Nice article that seems to give a good overview of various types of web(site/app) development. Tried out Wix.com website builder. Used a free template and got this static site:  https://riyer02.wixsite.com/ravi-biz. I did not want to spend time modifying the template as I think that will be quite straight forward to do but will suck away time. The template site was very easy to create.  The only downside I can see with it is the Wix banner on top of the site which is due to my using a free plan.
